Your Furniture Can Look Like Our Showroom Furniture!

Come visit our showroom and see for yourself the wide range of furniture restoration we have performed on pieces dating back to the early 1800's. From a Hand-Rubbed, High Gloss to a Sprayed, Low Sheen Satin Finish, we can help you restore your favorite piece(s) of furniture so that you will enjoy & be proud of them for years to come. We will also advise you on which technique or method will preserve your furniture's value, or perhaps, leave it "as found!"

Cleaning:
We will clean the inside, outside, back and bottom of any age piece of furniture. We can clean away most wax build-up and dirt & grime as well as old, lingering odors so that you can enjoy using the piece for years to come.

Repairs & Re-gluing:
You may be surprised as to what type of repairs can be done. Most repairs can be accomplished without a trace of the former problem. We will let you know if a repair is possible or even needed. Chairs, table pedestals, coffee tables and accent tables often need the old glue removed from each joint and new glue added to insure the longevity and use of your favorite pieces.

Re-upholstery:

We repair and re-upholster anything from slip seats to sofas. It is better to fix any structural problems before the new upholstery is applied. We have turned away many pieces for consignment because the frame was not fixed before the fabric was applied.

Finish Revival (for pre-1950's only):
A hand-rubbed finish is done by mixing a compatible product with the existing finish in a hand applied method. This technique will best preserve the "original" essence of an historic or prized family piece without compromising it's value.

We have all heard about that antiques show where the expert says that the piece would have been worth $500K had you not stripped and refinished it and now its only worth $3K. Well we will advise you on when it is appropriate to revive or strip & refinish or just leave it alone!

Stripping & Refinishing (for pre-1950's only):
There are many "middle market" pieces whose value will actually go up when they have been completely refinished. There is nothing like a brand new finish to make a piece stand out in any room. Come and see our showroom as many of those pieces are on display throughout the store.
